there's been a distinct lack of updates on my part. there's also been a distinct lack of internet in our apartment. i blame global warming.

last weekend, cameron and i went to florence for the weekend. we got lost repeatedly; seemingly stuck in a continuum like bill murray in groundhog day. but we didn't care. happy enough to just absorb the city and life therein, we wandered everywhere.

cameron is a fantastic artist who, daily, inspires me to observe life in different ways. he is always drawing, sketching, videotaping or taking pictures of small, visceral existences. "life is art is life," as he would say.

rome is beautiful and wonderful and will never cease to amaze...but i'm getting an itch. i want to travel, somewhere.
